School Dayz: Puberty and You
I really loved doing this project. It is a comic for young boys just about to hit puberty. Giving them information in an informal format. I enjoyed hand drawing all the images and then using the computer to colour them in.
iCatching
I did the illustration and graphics for iCatching a game available on IOS and Android with survival and storyline modes with illustrated cut scenes.
Taking the survival mode from the original iCatching app it has been developed into a number of small holiday and event themed games, such as iCatching Easter, and iCatching Brazil 2014 with other variations to follow.
Alphapets app design
I did the design work for this app, created using Action Script 3, and helped develop the functionality, looking at how button design and layout could improve usability and function. This phonic spelling app is available on the Android and Apple marketplaces. The purpose behind this app is to teach children how to spell and pronounce letters.
Parents with Prospects GRADS
These are characters I designed for the Parents with Prospects GRADS work books. It is a program in Ohio, America for young pregnant teenagers to learn all sorts of life skills, from parenting to financial understanding. These images were used to convey the ideas and elements of the course, in an interesting and engaging way.
The Giggle Group Stopmotion Promotion
I have been interested in the art form of paper toys for some time, and in a spare moment while working for The Giggle Group I came up with a character based on their logo, I presented to them the idea of using it as promotional material. It was taken on as an idea and developed into a short animated film concept with in a Christmas competition promotion. Which intern created a talking point with clients and new business.
I found a way to build the characters, and animated them using the Canon 500D and Dragonframe software. We then used After Effects to remove the wires, and to create the scene of when the character jumps out of the computer screen.

Lloyds Pharmacy
I have created four separate animations for the internal communications of Lloyds Pharmacy with The Giggle Group. I initially created mood boards and a storyboard to develop and sell the style of the piece, they had never had an animated internal communication before, and needed to be convinced that it would work and interest the staff.
The characters are based on existing designs the company had previously; I adapted these for animation, and developed numerous other characters, from burglars to cavemen. The people and some items were animated in Flash, and combined with other elements using After Effects.
Above images are shots taken from a spoof of the Crime Watch titles.

Betty Crocker
Above are images showing the style, colour palette, and mood of the animation piece I created for Betty Crocker.
I originally created a 10second animated short to show the idea of using this style of animation, photo elements over lapped, with 2.5D camera moves, creating depth and space, referencing closely the mood boards and information provided by the client to best reflect the companies brand.

All my own art work, hand drawn, and then created in Photoshop using cut-outs and textures.
